My name is Abdelmalek Bensetti, I am an Algerian architect and self-educated graphic designer based in Istanbul. I graduated from the Architecture School at Oran University 2009-2014.

I've spent the last 8 years working as a freelancer graphic designer specialized in editorial and print designs such as books, magazines, flyers and leaflets. After graduation I also worked for a couple of architecture agencies where I had to design buildings from drawing 2D technical layouts and creating 3D visualization models to providing statuses and supervision reports. I do all that work using Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, After Effects) and CAD softwares (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Lumion).

What I like most about being able to work in these two fields is the fact that they're connected and help one to understand the other. It’'s all about being a creative.

I am currently learning more about architectural photography and visualization and in my free time I like to practice calligraphy. I had the opportunity to be a part of the OIC Youth Capital international programme "Islamic Calligraphy Workshop" in Shiraz in December 2017.

I can easily work on a team and collective projects. I speak Arabic, French, English and Turkish and can handle a daily life conversation in Spanish.
